The Best
This was the restaurant's specialty - shrimp filled peppers you douse in soy sauce and slab on mayonnaise.
The Vista
I think the panorama view distorted the only cloud in the sky, otherwise VERY cool photo (typically not this clear).
Amazing
Truly a testament to the resilience in nature when something can grow this large in an environment with so little water.
Happy Ones
We look a bit punchy, might be time for some lunch (thank GOODNESS Kendra bought snacks when we stopped for gas).
Fishfest
We drove into Palm Springs (45 minutes) to eat dinner at a restaurant recommended by the resort.
The Prep
Kevin and I headed out the next morning for a shuffle board match. This gentleman was kind enough to blow the court for us.
Peanut Gallery
The ladies came down to watch after Kevin beat me in the first game (the red discs were suspect).
Victorious
The match came down to the last shuffle, I was unable to hit Kevin's piece and he won 2 games to 1 (the black pieces won every game).
One Down
Anita completed her first puzzle - purchased at the National Park of National Park posters.
Flood Watch
I landed in a hurricane, right after an earthquake to experience flooding in the desert - anything else planned?
Poor Timing
We eventually braved the wall of water and experienced flooded streets and intersections (2+ feet) on our way to dinner.
Masked
Kendra thought it'd be a bonding experience to share masks with the ladies. Anita passed so I stepped up.
